Tour itinerary
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – SIEM REAP (B, L, D)
04:05: The guide picks you up at the meeting point in District 1 and departs for Cambodia. Breakfast at Ngon restaurant with the famous banh canh specialty of Trang Bang.
Cross Moc Bai – Bavet border gate, the Vietnam – Cambodia border, and complete immigration procedures.
You are welcomed with a special ritual performed by Apsara girls, along with surprising and delightful gifts.
09:00: the Cambodia guide takes the group along National Highway 1 through Prey Veng province. Continue to Kampong Cham province across the Japanese-Cambodia bridge spanning the Tonle Bat river.
Have lunch at a local restaurant, then continue the journey to Siem Reap.
17:00: Arrive in Siem Reap, check in at the hotel and rest.
Have dinner and stay overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 2: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT – ANGKOR THOM (B, L, D)
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
The car takes the group to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, a vast ancient temple with unique carvings and motifs on every square centimetre, closely tied to the culture and development of the Khmer people.
Bayon Temple with its four faces and mysterious smiles, the Terrace of the Elephants, the King’s palace from the 12th century…
Have lunch and rest.
Continue to visit Angkor Wat temple, one of the wonders of the world.
Visit Ta Prohm – a ruin of an ancient Khmer capital with strangely shaped giant trees, chosen by Hollywood as the filming location for the movie Tomb Raider, and several other temples in the area…
Buy souvenirs bearing the distinctive mark of Angkor.
Conquer the Bakheng hilltop, 65m high, to watch the sunset as the sun gradually disappears behind the great Angkor temple – an unforgettable memory for every traveller.
19:00: Enjoy a buffet dinner at a restaurant and watch a traditional Apsara dance and music performance with dancers in graceful celestial nymph movements.
DAY 3: SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH – THE ROYAL PALACE (B, L, D)
Buffet breakfast at the restaurant, check out, and depart for Phnom Penh. On the way, the group stops at the insect market to try fried, grilled and wine-soaked spiders, crickets and grasshoppers.
Arrive in Phnom Penh, check in at the hotel and have lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, the residence of the contemporary royal family, the dazzling Golden Temple and Silver Pagoda with the famous Emerald Buddha of Cambodia and Thailand, and visit the Vietnam – Cambodia memorial monument.
Take photos at Independence Square and the Four Faces River.
Have dinner at a Phnom Penh restaurant, then visit and try your luck at Naga Resort casino, the most beautiful and luxurious in Cambodia.
Return to the hotel to rest or freely explore the capital Phnom Penh at night.
DAY 4: PHNOM PENH – MARKET SHOPPING – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L,…)
Buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out. The group goes to the market to buy Cambodia specialties.
Have lunch. Depart back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Moc Bai border gate, the guide completes procedures to return to Vietnam.
Take you back to the original departure point. End of tour, farewell and see you again.

PRICE FOR CHILDREN:
- Children under 2 years old: free of charge, pay for any services incurred. Share a bed with the family.
- Children from 2 to under 4 years old: 50% of the adult tour price. Entitlements: meals, insurance. Share a bed with the family.
- Children from 5 to under 11 years old: 75% of the adult tour price. Entitlements: meals, seat on the vehicle, insurance. Share a bed with the family; if a separate bed is required, 90% of the tour price applies.
- Children from 11 years old and above: charged at the adult tour price.
TOUR BOOKING CONDITIONS:
- – Passport valid for at least 6 months (counting to the end of the tour).
- – Guests with foreign nationality must have a Vietnam entry visa valid up to the departure date.
- – Guests eligible for Vietnam visa exemption must not exceed 90 days from the date of entry to the end of the tour.
- – Please provide complete and accurate personal information: full name as on ID card or passport, phone number, contact address…
- – Please pay a deposit of 3,000,000 VND for adults and 1,500,000 VND for children when booking the tour, and pay the full amount 3 days before the departure date.
TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:
- – Cancellation 3 days before departure: the deposit is non-refundable.
- – Cancellation 2 days before departure: 50% penalty on the total tour price.
- – Cancellation 1 day before departure: 75% penalty on the total tour price.
- – Cancellation within 24 hours before departure time: 100% penalty on the total tour price.
- – Note that the days mentioned above are counted as working days only
NOTES:
- – Guests with Vietnamese, Singaporean, Filipino, Lao or Malaysian nationality are exempt from Cambodia visa.
- – In cases of force majeure such as: terrorism, riots, natural disasters, changes in airline or train schedules… Cambodia Travel Company will proactively change the itinerary or cancel the tour for the convenience and safety of guests and will not be responsible for compensating any incurred costs.
- – When joining the tour, please remember to bring original documents: Visa (for overseas Vietnamese guests), Passport.
- – In case guests are not allowed to exit or enter the country for personal reasons or at the request of national security of the two countries Vietnam – Cambodia, Cambodia Travel Company will not be responsible and will not bear any incurred costs nor refund the tour price (in the case where guests cannot join).
- – The order of sightseeing points may change due to objective incidents such as weather, traffic… but all points listed in the program are still guaranteed.
- – In cases of force majeure such as: terrorism, riots, natural disasters, changes in airline or train schedules… Cambodia Travel Company will proactively change the itinerary or cancel the tour for the convenience and safety of guests and will not be responsible for compensating any incurred costs.
- – Personal documents such as Passport, Visa, money and valuables… should be kept by you, or left at the hotel reception in case of risks. Cambodia Travel Company is not responsible for any case where you lose documents or personal property.
THINGS TO KNOW WHEN TRAVELLING TO CAMBODIA
a. Meeting time and place:
- On the morning of departure, please gather at 4:45 at the company office. The vehicle departs at exactly 5:00; the company is not responsible if guests do not gather on time.
- When taking a taxi to the meeting point, please pay inside the taxi; do not take out money or your wallet to pay after getting out of the car.
- Be careful with your luggage; it is best to put it in the vehicle compartment as soon as you meet the Tour Leader of Cambodia Travel Company.
b. Contact information:

c. Before the trip:
- Please bring your Passport (original); if you are overseas Vietnamese or a foreign guest, bring 2 additional 4×6 photos for the Vietnam re-entry visa (if applicable).
- Pack light for 4 days; it is best to divide luggage into two types: carry-on luggage for items needed on the vehicle, and luggage stored in the vehicle compartment in a medium-sized suitcase, avoiding frequent packing and unpacking that can lead to confusion and loss.
- The company prepares a medical kit, but you should bring medicines you usually use that suit your constitution, or specific medications for your own treatment (if you are under treatment).
A FEW MORE NOTES
a. Information and communication:
- Cambodia and Vietnam are in the same time zone.
- Cambodian currency: 1 USD exchanges for about 4000 riel, 1000 riel exchanges for 6000 VND, USD is widely used in Cambodia.
- The main means of transport are Tuk Tuk at about 5 USD per hour for 5 people, and motorbike taxi (motorbike with driver) at about 1 USD per trip per person.

- Please remember to take the phone numbers of the local guide and the company Tour Leader. When going out, please bring the hotel’s name card for easier travel.
b. Customs:
- Vietnam Customs regulations: you may not carry more than 3,000 USD in cash when leaving the country. Duty-free purchases are allowed up to a value of 300 USD. You may not carry more than 300gr of jewellery.
- If you bring a camera, please declare it in the customs declaration form so that you are not taxed when entering Vietnam.
- If you bring tapes or discs, they must be censored before being taken abroad.
c. Weather and clothing:
- Cambodia’s weather is similar to southern Vietnam, with two seasons – rainy and sunny – but little rain and prolonged heat; you should bring appropriate sun-protection clothing and items.
- It is advisable to bring sports shoes or sandals with a heel strap for easier walking when visiting places with large grounds such as the Royal Palace, Angkor…
- On the afternoon of the third day, according to the itinerary visiting the Royal Palace, please wear respectful clothing: shirts that do not expose the neck, with sleeves, trousers reaching the ankles, and skirts below the knees.
d. Food, entertainment and shopping:
- The taste of Cambodian dishes is similar to southern Vietnam, so you can be assured. For vegetarian or diet meals, please inform us before booking the tour.
- Eating and drinking outside is similar to Vietnam, so you can enjoy food outside the program, but you should choose airy and hygienic places.
- When shopping locally, you can bargain.
- Going out at night is quite safe, but you should avoid going alone and avoid deserted places; going in a group by Tuk Tuk is very interesting and fun.
- You can visit nightlife and entertainment areas such as casinos (the famous Naga casino in Phnom Penh), the Khao San Road area, music cafes, food streets… The local guide or Tour Leader will show you the way.
e. General notes:
- For a complete tour, please follow the management of the local guide and the Tour Leader of Cambodia Travel Company regarding gathering times and sightseeing…
- When sightseeing, please stay with the group (the guide holds the Cambodia Travel Company group flag) to listen to explanations and avoid getting lost.
- In the evening when going out, please leave your Passport and valuable belongings at the hotel (the Passport can be kept by the Tour Leader).
- Be careful when moving around sightseeing sites; do not stand or climb in unsafe places. Be careful when walking on the road or crossing the street. Families with children should watch and look after them carefully.
- Elderly guests or those with high blood pressure should not walk up Bakheng hill; instead, you can ride an elephant up or stroll around other temples in the area.
- To keep the tourism environment clean and sustainable, please do not litter in public places, climb or write on monuments. Always respect and preserve the cultural identity of the places you visit.
