Tour itinerary
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – SIEM REAP (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
04:15 The guide picks up guests at Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica – City Post Office and along Cong Hoa Street, departing for Siem Reap via the Trans-Asia Highway. Enjoy breakfast in Trang Bang with its famous banh canh. Arrive at Moc Bai – Bavet border gate for exit and entry procedures. The journey passes through Svay Rieng and Prey Veng provinces.
11:30 The group has lunch in Prey Veng. Continue the route through Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom provinces to Siem Reap. Along the way, visit Kampong Kdei – an ancient bridge built of laterite in the 12th century.
17:30 The group has dinner and checks into the hotel. In the evening, freely explore Siem Reap at night with the Night Market, Pub Street, etc., or enjoy the Smile of Angkor show – a world-leading artistic performance using unique 3D technology (at your own expense). Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 2: KULEN MOUNTAIN – 1000 LINGA RIVER (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
06:00: Guests enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. The journey takes visitors on a pilgrimage to the sacred Kulen Mountain (Lychee Mountain) – 50 km from Siem Reap, at an altitude of more than 800 m above sea level. Kulen is a sacred land for Cambodian people, with thousands of pilgrims visiting each year. It is where kings of the Angkor Empire quarried stone to build temples.
The journey up the mountain visits the River of a Thousand Lingas – with thousands of Linga – Yoni statues and the Rama epic carved into the riverbed. To create this masterpiece, 4,200 m long, it took more than 10,000 sculptors and local people working hard for over 100 years to complete. Although more than 1,000 years have passed, the river water has not been able to erode these masterpieces; instead, it has made them even more sparkling and mysterious.
The Buddha’s footprint imprinted on the rock, the sacred well, and Phnum Kulen waterfall.
Shopping at places selling elephant ivory, bear gall, elephant tail hair, etc.
Enjoy a rustic lunch on the mountain with fragrant grilled chicken, grilled fish, sour soup, etc.
Relax and bathe in the stream. In the afternoon, the journey goes down the mountain back to Siem Reap to visit
The Stone Carving Village (Amazo) – a traditional stone carving village that recreates the unique original masterpieces of Angkor Empire architecture.
Visit Preah On Chek – Preah On Chorm, sacred and famous among Cambodian people.
Regarded as the Four-Faced Buddha in Thailand.
17:00: The group has dinner with a buffet and enjoys a Royal Palace music and dance performance with the famous Apsara dances. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 3: SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
06:00: The group has breakfast. Check out of the hotel. Depart for the capital Phnom Penh; along the way, stop to rest and visit Skun Spider Market – a market selling many kinds of insects: crickets, spiders, catfish, frogs, etc. Visitors can try insect specialties here (at your own expense).
Enjoy chayote hot pot – conveyor-belt hot pot instead of the lunch meal. Check in and rest.
In the afternoon, visit the capital Phnom Penh with Wat Ounalom, one of the ancient pagodas in the capital Phnom Penh.
The Royal Palace (where the King works and receives guests), the Silver Pagoda (Golden Pagoda) – the pagoda floor is paved with 5,329 silver tiles, each weighing 1,125 kg, where a solid gold Buddha statue weighing 90 kg is worshipped, studded with 2,086 diamonds, and a Buddha statue made of emerald (at your own expense)
Visit the duty-free shopping area with famous world brands at Naga World, try your luck at Naga Casino – known as a mini Las Vegas.
17:30: Have dinner. Take photos at the Independence Monument. In the evening, freely explore Phnom Penh at night.
DAY 4: PHNOM PENH – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, lunch)
06:30: Guests have breakfast. Check out of the hotel.
Depart to visit the Feng Shui Stone Center; visitors can choose natural stones suitable for their destiny and birth year to bring good luck in business and trade.
Souvenir shopping at Phsar Thom Thmey market, one of the major commercial centers of the capital.
11:30: Guests have lunch with a buffet at Tonle Bacsac II Hotel, the largest in the capital Phnom Penh.
Continue the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Bavet – Moc Bai border gate for exit and entry procedures at Moc Bai border gate.
Continue the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. The vehicle takes guests to the meeting point. End of the tour to the land of the Temple. Farewell to the group, see you again.
