The Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom complex was recognized as a World Heritage Site in December 1992, a symbol of the cultural strength of the Cambodian people. Therefore, it is no surprise that many tourists from all over the world dream of once beholding the great Angkor complex atop the towers of Angkor Wat, walking through the mysterious gates of Angkor Thom, and staring at the enigmatic smiling stone faces at the Bayon temple within the famous Angkor Thom complex.

Tour itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – MOC BAI BORDER GATE – PHNOM PENH (B, L, D)

04:15 AM Departure, the car and guide Cambodia will pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Siem Reap. Breakfast at Trang Bang.

07:00: The group arrives at Moc Bai border gate, completes exit and entry procedures through the border gate.

12:00 arrive in Phnom Penh, the group has lunch at a restaurant. Then check in to the hotel for rest.

Afternoon at 02:30 PM You visit the sacred symbols of the city such as the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda & Gold Pagoda, continue the group has dinner.

The car takes you to visit Phnom Penh at night along the poetic Mekong River and try your luck at Naga Casino. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B, L, D)

06:00 You have breakfast, check out. The car picks you up and takes you to visit Phnom Penh city such as the Independence Monument, the Vietnam Volunteer Soldiers Monument, the New Market and the major shopping centers of the capital.

Have lunch in Phnom Penh. Then depart for Siem Reap. On the way, the group stops at the Insect Market to enjoy spiders, scorpions, grasshoppers.. fried, grilled, soaked in wine.
Arrive in Siem Reap, check in to the hotel and have lunch, rest.

Day 3: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT COMPLEX (B, L, D)

Angkor Wat Temple, Siem Reap, Cambodia.

You have breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Angkor Wat Temple area, one of the wonders of the world, the most sacred in the Land of Temples.

Visit the Angkor Thom palace complex – the four-faced Bayon statue with a kind and mysterious smile, admire the majestic Angkor architectural art.

Then visit the Royal Palace of King Yayavarman VII in the 12th century, visit the Elephant Terrace – where traditional festivals of the ancient Khmer people were held.

12:00: The group has lunch. Then continue to visit the ancient temples of Banteay Kdey, Takeo, most importantly Ta Prohm Temple, where the terrible destruction of nature over nearly 1000 years is recorded.

This is the place chosen by Hollywood as the main setting for the famous movie “Tomb Raider” starring actress Angelina Jolie, you will have a wonderful sightseeing experience.

17:00: The group climbs Bakheng Hill to watch the sunset on the top of the hill, overlooking the panoramic view of Angkor Wat, Baray Lake, Siem Reap airport.

18:00: have dinner with local rustic dishes then the car takes the group back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel, free at night.

Day 4: SIEM REAP – MOC BAI – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L,…)

06:00: After breakfast buffet at the hotel and check-out procedures, the group departs for Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, the group visits the Ancient Stone Dragon Bridge – the oldest bridge in Southeast Asia, the group passes through Kompom Cham, Kampong Thom provinces.

Admire the Japanese – Cambodia bridge spanning the Tonle Bat river, the vast fields of Thot Not trees.

Arrive in Prey Veng town for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to depart for Ho Chi Minh City via National Highway 1 through Svay Rieng Province, arrive at Moc Bai border gate, the guide will help you with procedures to return to Vietnam.

Take you back to the original departure point. End of tour, farewell and see you again.

Tour price 4-star and 3-star hotels: 5,550,000 VND/ guest

Tour price 4-star and 4-star hotels: 5,950,000 VND/ guest

PRICE FOR CHILDREN:

• Children under 2 years old: 1,000,000 VND, self-sufficient for services if costs arise. Sleep with family.
• Children from 2 to under 5 years old: 50% of adult tour price. Standard: meals, insurance. Sleep with family.
• Children from 5 to under 11 years old: 75% of adult tour price. Standard: meals, seat on car, insurance. Sleep with family, if wanting separate bed pay 100% of tour price.
• Children from 11 years old and above: charged as adult tour price.

TOUR REGISTRATION CONDITIONS:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months (from the tour end date).
• Guests with foreign nationality must have a valid Vietnam entry visa up to the departure date.
• Guests exempt from Vietnam visa must not exceed 90 days from entry to tour end date.
• Please provide complete and accurate personal information such as: Full name as per ID card or passport, phone number, contact address…

Please deposit:

• Adults: 3,000,000 VND,
• Children: 1,500,000 VND when registering for the tour and pay the full amount 2 days before departure.

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Cancel tour 3 days before: no refund of deposit.
• Cancel tour 2 days before: penalty 50% of total tour price.
• Cancel tour 1 day before: penalty 75% of total tour price.
• Cancel tour within 24 hours before departure: penalty 100% of total tour price.

Note: the above days are counted only as working days

• – Guests with Vietnamese, Singaporean, Filipino, Lao, Malaysian nationality are exempt from Cambodia visa.
• – In cases of force majeure such as: terrorism, riots, natural disasters, changes in flight or train schedules… Cambodia Travel Company will proactively change the itinerary or cancel the tour for the convenience and safety of customers and is not responsible for compensation for arising costs.
• – When going on the tour, please bring original documents: Visa (for overseas Vietnamese), Passport.
• – In case you are not allowed to exit or enter due to personal reasons or requirements of national security of Vietnam – Cambodia. Cambodia Travel Company will not be responsible and will not bear arising costs nor refund the tour price (in case you cannot go).
• – The order of sightseeing points may change due to objective incidents such as weather, traffic…but still ensure all points mentioned in the program are visited.
• – In cases of force majeure such as: terrorism, riots, natural disasters, changes in flight or train schedules… Cambodia Travel Company will proactively change the itinerary or cancel the tour for the convenience and safety of customers and is not responsible for compensation for arising costs.
• – Personal documents such as Passport, Visa, money, valuables… Please keep them yourself, or leave at the hotel reception in case of risks. Cambodia Travel Company is not responsible for any case of loss of documents or personal property.

A. INFORMATION TO KNOW WHEN TRAVELING TO CAMBODIA

a. Time and meeting point:

• On the morning of departure, please gather at 04:45 at the Company office. Exactly 05:00 the car will depart, the Company is not responsible if guests do not gather on time.
• When taking a taxi to the meeting point, please pay in the car, do not take out money or wallet to pay outside the car.
• Be careful with luggage, best to put it in the car trunk as soon as you meet the Tour Leader of Cambodia Travel Company.

c. Preparation before the trip:

• Please bring your Passport (original), if you are overseas Vietnamese or a foreign guest, bring 2 photos 4 x 6 to make a Vietnam re-entry visa (if any).
• Light luggage for 4 days, should be divided into 2 types: carry-on luggage for items needed on the car, checked luggage in the car trunk should be in a moderate suitcase and avoid taking out and putting in easily causing confusion and loss.
• The company has prepared a medical kit but you should bring common medicines familiar to your body, or specific treatment medicines (if you are under treatment).

B. SOME ADDITIONAL NOTES

a. Information and communication:

• Cambodia and Vietnam are in the same time zone.
• Cambodian currency: 1 USD exchanges for about 4000 riel; 1000 riel exchanges for 5500 VND; USD is widely used in Cambodia.
• Main means of transport is Tuk Tuk about 5 USD/ hour/ 5 people; motorbike taxi about 1 USD/ trip/ person.

b. Customs:

• Vietnam Customs regulations: do not carry more than 3,000 USD in cash when exiting. Tax-free purchases when value is 300 USD or less. Do not carry more than 300gr of jewelry.
• If you bring a camera, please declare it in the customs declaration to avoid being taxed when entering Vietnam.
• If bringing tapes or discs, they must be censored before taking abroad.

c. Weather and clothing:

• Cambodia’s weather is like our Southern region, 2 seasons of rain and sun but little rain, long hot sunshine, you should bring appropriate sun protection clothing and items.
• Should bring sports shoes or sandals with back straps for convenient walking during visits to places with large grounds such as: Royal Palace, Angkor…
• On the afternoon of the 3rd day according to the itinerary visiting the Royal Palace, please wear respectful clothing, shirts not showing the neck, must have sleeves, pants must reach the ankles, skirts must be longer than the knees.

d. Dining – entertainment – shopping:

• The taste of food in Cambodia is similar to the South so you can be assured. In case of vegetarian or diet, please inform before registering for the tour.
• Eating and drinking outside is similar to Vietnam so you can enjoy cuisine outside the program, but should choose airy and hygienic restaurants.
• When shopping locally, you can bargain.
• Going out at night is quite safe, but should avoid going alone and going to deserted places, can go in groups by Tuk Tuk very interesting and fun.
• You can visit night entertainment areas such as: casinos (the famous Nagar casino in Phnom Penh), Khao San Road area, music cafes, dining streets… The local guide or Tour Leader will guide you.

e. General notes:

• For a complete tour, please follow the management of the local guide and Tour Leader of Cambodia Travel Company regarding meeting times, sightseeing…
• When visiting, please stay with the group (the guide holds the flag of Cambodia Travel Company) to listen to explanations and avoid getting lost.
• In the evening when going out, please leave Passport and valuables at the hotel (Passport can be left with the Tour Leader).
• Be careful when moving around the sightseeing points, do not stand or climb in unsafe places. Be careful when walking on the road, crossing the road. Families with children please observe and look after the children carefully.
• Elderly guests with high blood pressure should not walk up Bakheng Hill, instead can ride an elephant up or stroll other temples in the area.
• To keep the tourism environment clean and sustainable, please do not litter in public places, climb, write or draw on relics. Always respect and preserve the cultural identity of the place you are visiting.
