Tour Itinerary
DAY 01: HO CHI MINH CITY – PHNOM PENH – SIHANOUKVILLE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
5:00 AM: The vehicle and guide from Saigon Travel Company pick up guests at the meeting point and depart for Cambodia. Enjoy breakfast in Trang Bang (specialty: pork knuckle noodle soup). Arrive at Moc Bai border gate for immigration procedures. Continue the journey to the capital Phnom Penh, where the group has lunch at a famous restaurant in Phnom Penh.
17:00: Arrive in Sihanouk, visit the city’s seaside symbol (the sea lion statue), check in and rest.
18:00: Guests have dinner, then are free to stroll along the beach to see the phosphorescence (at own expense), watch fireworks light up the sky or lanterns being lit and released into the sky… Overnight in Sihanouk.
DAY 02: SIHANOUKVILLE – KOH RONG ISLAND – BOKOR (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: Guests have breakfast at the hotel and check out.
08:00: The vehicle takes guests to the port, departing for a tour on the Gulf of Thailand. The boat continues to Koh Rong Island, known as the most beautiful beach in Southeast Asia. Here, guests are free to swim, enjoy food on the island… (at own expense)
11:00: Guests return to Sihanouk port and have lunch at a restaurant. Afterwards, continue the journey to Bokor Highlands – 1,079m above sea level – often called the “Da Lat” of the Land of the Pagodas. Guests have dinner in Kampot.
18:30: Arrive in Bokor, check in at the 5-star Thansur Resort. Afterwards, guests are free to visit and have fun at the 5-star Thansur Casino. Overnight in Bokor.
DAY 03: BOKOR – PHNOM PENH – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, Lunch)
7:30: Have breakfast at the hotel. Guests visit the residence and living quarters of King Sihanouk (also where the King used to hunt), take photos of the Palace – Casino, and the Catholic Church built by the French colonialists in 1917. In particular, visit Wat Sampeou – hear the legend of Prince Preah Thom and the mermaid princess Nagani – the birthplace of Khmer civilisation… The group departs for Phnom Penh.
12:00: The group has lunch in Phnom Penh.
The group departs back to Ho Chi Minh City. The guide from Saigon Travel Company escorts guests back to the original departure point. End of the Koh Rong Island Cambodia Tour, farewell and see you again.
Tour price includes
- Transportation: New air-conditioned vehicles running directly between Vietnam and Cambodia, boat to Koh Rong Island
- Accommodation: 5-star standard hotel in Bokor – 3-star in Sihanoukville (2-3 guests/room).
- Meals: As per programme; cold towels and 1 bottle of 500ml water per day on the road.
- Vietnamese-speaking guide throughout the trip, Cambodian guide meets you at the border gate.
- Insurance: International travel insurance
- Sightseeing: Entrance tickets to all attractions in the programme.
Tour price excludes
- Entrance tickets to attractions outside the programme.
- Cambodia visa at approximately 1,000,000 VND and Vietnam re-entry visa at 75 USD/guest for guests with foreign nationality.
- Other personal expenses such as: telephone, laundry, shopping, drinks..
- Tips for the driver and local guide: 4 USD/day/guest

TICKET PRICES FOR CHILDREN
- From 5 to under 11 years old: 75% of adult ticket price (own seat, shares bed with parents)
- From 2 to under 5 years old: 50% of adult ticket price (own seat, shares bed with parents)
- Under 2 years old: No ticket, insurance and border fee of 500,000 VND applies, family’s own arrangement. 2 adults may bring only 1 child; if more children come along, from the 2nd child onwards half a ticket must be purchased.
- Over 11 years old: 100% of tour price.
TOUR CANCELLATION CONDITIONS (NOT APPLICABLE DURING PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND TET)
- More than 7 days before: 10% of tour price.
- 3-7 days before: 50% of tour price.
- 0-3 days before: 100% of tour price
NOTES
- Original passport (valid for at least 6 months from the return date)
- Cambodia visa exemption for nationals of: Malaysia, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam…
- Guests who are overseas Vietnamese or foreigners using a loose-leaf visa must carry it with them when joining this tour.
- Guests with dual nationality or a Travel document (nationality not yet registered) please inform the tour sales staff and submit the original relevant documents when joining the tour.
- Guests holding a green card and no longer having a valid Vietnamese passport cannot register for the tour.
- Guests are kindly requested to pay a 50% deposit when registering for the tour and complete payment 7 days before departure.
- For guests over 70 years old, the family and the guest must commit to their health condition with our Company before joining the tour. If any incident occurs on the tour, Saigon Travel Company will not be responsible.
- If guests are denied exit or entry for personal reasons, Saigon Travel Company will not be responsible and will not refund the tour price.
