Tour itinerary

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – SIEM REAP (B, L, D)

04h15: Tour guide picks up guests at the meeting point, District 1, departs for Cambodia. Breakfast at a restaurant with the famous Trang Bang banh canh specialty.

Cross Moc Bai – Bavet border gate, Vietnam – Cambodia border, complete immigration procedures.

Guests are welcomed with a special ceremony by Apsara dancers along with surprising, interesting gifts.

09h00: the Cambodia tour guide will take the group along National Highway 1 through Prey Veng province. Arrive at Kompong Cham province, cross the Japanese – Cambodia bridge spanning the Tonle Bat river.

Have lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Siem Reap.

17h00: Arrive in Siem Reap, check in at the hotel and rest. Have dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 2: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT (B, L, D)

Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

The car takes the group to visit the south gate of Angkor Thom, a large ancient temple with unique carvings and patterns on every cm2 associated with the cultural legend and development of the Khmer people.

Bayon Temple with 4 faces and mysterious smiles, the Elephant Terrace, the King’s palace from the 12th century….

Have lunch and rest.

Continue visiting Angkor Wat, one of the wonders of the world.

Visit Ta Prohm – a ruin of the ancient Khmer city with strangely shaped giant trees where Hollywood chose as the filming location for the movie Tomb Raider, and some other temples in the area… Buy souvenirs with the distinctive mark of Angkor.

Conquer the 65m high temple peak to watch the sunset as the sun gradually disappears behind the great Angkor, an unforgettable memory for every visitor.

19h00: Have dinner at a restaurant and enjoy traditional dishes rich in Khmer cultural identity. Then the car takes the group back to the hotel, free to explore Siem Reap at night…

DAY 3: SIEM REAP – ROYAL PALACE (B, L, D)

Breakfast buffet at the restaurant, check out, depart for Phnom Penh.

On the way, the group stops at the insect market, enjoys fried, grilled, wine-soaked spiders, crickets, grasshoppers. Arrive in Phnom Penh, check in at the hotel and have lunch then rest.

In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, residence of the contemporary royal family, the splendid Silver Pagoda with the famous Emerald of Cambodia and Thailand, visit the Vietnam – Cambodia memorial, take photos at Independence Square, Four Faces River.

Have dinner at a Phnom Penh restaurant then visit and try your luck at Nagar Resort casino 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, the most beautiful and luxurious in Cambodia.

Return to the hotel to rest or freely explore the capital Phnom Penh at night.

DAY 4: PHNOM PENH – SIGHTSEEING AND SHOPPING AT CENTRAL MARKET – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L,…)

Breakfast buffet at the hotel, check-out procedures. The group goes to the market, buys Cambodian specialties.

Have lunch, depart back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Moc Bai border gate, the tour guide completes procedures to return to Vietnam.

Take guests back to the original departure point. End of tour, farewell and see you again.

TICKET PRICE FOR CHILDREN:

– Children under 2 years old: 1,000,000 VND, self-sufficient for services if costs arise. Sleep sharing with family.

– Children from 2 to under 5 years old: 50% of adult tour price. Standard benefits: meals, insurance. Sleep sharing with family.

– Children from 5 to under 11 years old: 75% of adult tour price. Standard benefits: meals, seat on the bus, insurance. Sleep sharing with family, if you want a separate bed, pay 100% of the tour price.

– Children from 11 years old and above: charged at adult tour price.

TOUR REGISTRATION CONDITIONS:

– Passport valid for at least 6 months (calculated to the end date of the tour).

– Guests with foreign nationality must have a Vietnam entry visa valid until the departure date.

– Guests exempted from Vietnam visa must not exceed 90 days from the date of entry to the end date of the tour.

– Please provide complete and accurate personal information such as: Full name as on ID card or passport, phone number, contact address…

Guests please pay a deposit:

• Adult: 3,000,000 VND,
• Child: 2,000,000 VND when registering for the tour and pay the full amount 1 week before the departure date.

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

– Cancellation 3 days before: deposit is non-refundable.

– Cancellation 2 days before: penalty 50% of total tour price.

– Cancellation 1 day before: penalty 75% of total tour price.

– Cancellation within 24 hours before departure time: penalty 100% of total tour price.

– Guests with Vietnamese, Singaporean, Philippine, Lao, Malaysian nationality are exempt from Cambodia visa.

– In case of force majeure such as: terrorism, riots, natural disasters, changes in flight or train schedules… Cambodia Travel Company will proactively change the itinerary or cancel the tour for the convenience and safety of guests and is not responsible for compensation for any arising costs.

– When going on the tour, please remember to bring original documents: Visa (for overseas Vietnamese guests), Passport.

– In case guests are not allowed to exit or enter for personal reasons or requests of national security of the two countries Vietnam – Cambodia. Cambodia travel company will not be responsible and will not bear any arising costs nor refund the tour price (in case guests cannot go).

– The order of sightseeing points may change due to objective incidents such as: weather, traffic… but still ensure all points listed in the program are visited.

– In case of force majeure such as: terrorism, riots, natural disasters, changes in flight or train schedules… Cambodia travel company will proactively change the itinerary or cancel the tour for the convenience and safety of Guests and is not responsible for compensation for any arising costs.

– Personal documents such as Passport, Visa; money; valuable assets… Guests keep them themselves, or deposit at the hotel reception in case of risks. Cambodia travel company is not responsible for any case of Guests losing documents or personal assets.

A. INFORMATION TO KNOW WHEN TRAVELING TO CAMBODIA

a. Time and meeting place:

On the morning of the departure date, please gather at 04h05 at the Company office. Exactly 4h15 the car will depart, the Company is not responsible in case guests do not gather on time.

When taking a taxi to the meeting point, please pay the fare immediately in the car, do not take out money or wallet to pay when outside the car.

Be careful with your luggage, it is best to put it in the car trunk as soon as you meet the Tour Leader of Cambodia Travel Company.

c. Preparation before the trip:

Please bring your Passport (original), if you are overseas Vietnamese or a foreign guest, bring 2 photos 4 x 6 to make a Vietnam re-entry visa (if any).

Pack light luggage for 4 days, should be divided into 2 types: carry-on luggage for items needed on the bus, luggage sent in the car trunk should be in a moderate suitcase and avoid taking things in and out easily causing confusion and loss.

The company has prepared a medical kit but guests should bring common medicines familiar to their constitution, or specific treatment medicines (in case guests are undergoing treatment).

B. A FEW MORE NOTES

a. Information and contact:

Cambodia and Vietnam have the same time zone.

Cambodian currency: 1 USD exchanges for about 4000 riel; 1000 riel exchanges for 6000 VND; USD is widely used in Cambodia.

Main means of transport is Tuk Tuk about 5 USD/ hour/ 5 people; motorbike taxi (motorbike dup) about 1 USD/ trip/ person.

Please remember to get the phone number of the local Tour Guide and the Company Tour Leader. When going out, please bring the hotel name card for convenient travel.

b. Customs:

Vietnam Customs regulations: not allowed to carry more than 3,000 USD in cash when exiting. Purchases are tax-free when worth from 300 USD or less. Not allowed to carry more than 300gr of jewelry.

Guests carrying a Camera please declare it in the customs declaration to avoid being taxed when entering Vietnam.

If carrying tapes and discs, they must be censored before taking abroad.

c. Weather and clothing:

The weather in Cambodia is like Southern Vietnam, 2 seasons of rain and sun but little rain, long hot sunshine, Guests should bring appropriate sun protection clothing and items.

Should bring sports shoes or sandals with back straps for convenient sightseeing in places with large grounds such as: Royal Palace, Angkor…

On the afternoon of the 3rd day according to the itinerary visiting the Royal Palace, please wear respectful clothing, shirts not showing the neck, must have sleeves, pants must reach the ankles, skirts must be longer than the knees.

d. Dining – entertainment – shopping:

The taste of dishes in Cambodia is similar to the South so Guests can be assured. In case of vegetarian or diet, please notify before registering for the tour.

Eating and drinking outside is similar to Vietnam so Guests can enjoy food outside the program, but should choose airy and hygienic restaurants.

When shopping locally, Guests can bargain.

Going out at night is quite safe, but should avoid going alone and going to deserted places, can go in groups by Tuk Tuk which is very interesting and fun.

Guests can go to night entertainment areas such as: casinos (the famous Nagar casino in Phnom Penh), the backpacker area, music cafes, food streets… Local tour guide or Tour Leader will guide Guests.

e. General notes:

For the tour to be complete, please follow the management of the local tour guide and Tour Leader of Cambodia Travel Company regarding gathering times, sightseeing…

When sightseeing, please go together in the group (tour guide holds the flag of Travel Cambodia Company) to listen to explanations and avoid getting lost.

In the evening when going out, please leave Passport and valuables at the hotel (Passport can be given to the Tour Leader).

Please be careful when moving around in sightseeing places, do not stand or climb in unsafe places. Be careful when walking on the road, crossing the road. Families with children please watch and take care of the children carefully.

Elderly guests with high blood pressure should not walk up Bakheng hill, instead can ride an elephant up or stroll other temples in the area.

To keep the environment of tourism clean and sustainable, please do not litter in public places, climb, write or draw on relics. Always respect and preserve the cultural identity of the place you are visiting.
