Cambodia Summer Break Tour Angkor

04:05: The guide picks you up at the meeting point, District 1, and departs for Cambodia. Breakfast at Ngon restaurant with the famous banh canh specialty of Trang Bang. Cross Moc Bai – Bavet border gate, the Vietnam – Cambodia border, and complete immigration procedures. You will be welcomed with a special ceremony by Apsara dancers along with surprising, delightful gifts

09:00: the Cambodia guide will take the group along National Highway 1 through Prey Veng province. Arrive in Kompong Cham province, crossing the Japanese – Cambodia bridge spanning the Tonle Bat river. Have lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Siem Reap.

17:00: Arrive in Siem Reap, check in at the hotel and rest. Have dinner and stay overnight in Siem Reap.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. The car takes the group to visit the south gate of Angkor Thom, a vast ancient temple with unique carvings and patterns on every square centimetre, tied to the cultural legends and development of the Khmer people. Bayon Temple with its four faces and mysterious smiles, the Elephant Terrace, the King’s palace from the 12th century….
Have lunch and rest.

Continue to visit Angkor Wat, one of the wonders of the world. Visit Ta Prohm – a ruin of an ancient Khmer citadel with strangely shaped giant trees, chosen by Hollywood as a filming location for the movie Tomb Raider, and several other temples in the area… Buy souvenirs bearing the distinctive mark of Angkor.

Conquer the top of Bakheng hill, 65m high, to watch the sunset as the sun gradually disappears behind the mighty Angkor, an unforgettable memory for every traveller.

19:00: Enjoy a dinner buffet at the restaurant and watch a traditional Apsara song and dance performance with dancers in graceful fairy dances.

Breakfast buffet at the restaurant, check out, and depart for Phnom Penh. On the way, the group stops at the insect market to enjoy fried, grilled and wine-soaked spiders, crickets and grasshoppers. Arrive in Phnom Penh, check in at the hotel, have lunch and then rest.

In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, the residence of the contemporary royal family, the resplendent Gold Temple and Silver Temple with the famous Emerald of Cambodia and Thailand, visit the Vietnam – Cambodia memorial, take photos at Independence Square and the Four Faces River.

Have dinner at a Phnom Penh restaurant, then visit and try your luck at the Nagar Resort casino, the most beautiful and luxurious in Cambodia. Return to the hotel to rest or freely explore the capital Phnom Penh at night.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel, complete check-out procedures. The group goes to the market to buy Cambodian specialties.

Have lunch, then depart back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Moc Bai border gate, the guide completes procedures to return to Vietnam.

Take you back to the original departure point. End of tour, farewell and see you again.
